UPDATE: A PACKET node was added to this site on April 12, 2009. The equipment is temporary, but we hope to keep the node, MOORE, in operation. It can be worked direct from many locations in Amarillo; and it provides an additional route to FRITCH.

The Dumas APRS Digi was first installed on November 6, 2005, but had a TNC problem. After 'attitude adjustment' back in Amarillo by Maury, W5UGQ, the TNC was returned and officially began digipeating on November 7th. We are indebted to KE5EDY, Bo, Moore County Sheriff, and to KE5DSW, David, of the Dumas Police Department-- for finding us the unused antenna and hardline!
