Sadly, it has problems that, at this time, keep it from being of much use. Tests have shown that it HEARS very well, when the 147.28 repeater on Sierra Grande does not desense it. But it is very difficult to print transmissions from UNION, even with a strong signal. (Some print comes through if PASSALL is enabled, but it is difficult to read.)
The transceiver needs a notch filter, and the TNC is going to have to be replaced. We will probably have no access to the site until next summer.
