Matt, KC5CGT (below) set up a wireless internet connection-- keeping tabs on National Weather Service radar. That's a REFLECTION of a picnic table on the computer screen at left!

Matt explained some of the finer points of his computer set-up to Don, KC5EZO (below).

Here's the antenna (below) which brought in the internet connection. I really, REALLY want one of these for the top of my van!

That's just a small sample of the folks who were there-- Those not shown included Raymond, W5RAW, and his wife Gail (who made the FANTASTIC potato salad!); Bob, W5FBQ; David, W5DCG; and Jack, KD5DYO. Adair reported that they made 960 contacts.

I had intended to take some photos at the Amarillo Field Day, but I learned on my way back from Borger than it was being closed down early.
