Work At Wayside

The following 31 photos were taken by Jimmy, KB5WIO, during the final phase of removing a north side ice bridge from the old AT&T tower at Wayside, Texas. Removal of this very large section was necessary to make room to install a new building for Panhandle Regional Planning Commission, Pringle Communications Group and Caprock Intertie equipment.

Work to remove parts of the bridge was begun on Friday, December 6. The pictured work required a truck-mounted crane.

Those present on December 8th were Chip, N5LTZ; Jimmy, KB5WIO, Rick, WU5Y; Ralph and Susan Birdwell; Mark Burns; Winnie Cullair; Josh Cullair; and Dustin.

The new building is expected to be installed on December 15th.
